In reaching this decision, the GNFA Management consulted with the Bhai Sahibs, the Board, and several medical professionals in our sangat, among others. The Management also took note of the increased number of cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Maryland, the state of emergency declared in Maryland, the closures of Montgomery County schools, and the cancellation of local activities and programs. In light of this information, we believe that the cancellations of all activities at the Gurdwara Sahib is necessary to protect the health and safety of our Sangat and community, particularly seniors.
