Request for Sewa: Handmade Face Masks Needed

Sadh Sangat Ji,

GNFA has received a request from the Howard County General Hospital to make homemade face masks. Below are a few links to directions on how to make the masks:

Howard County/John’s Hopkin’s face mask guidelines and pattern:

CDC guidelines for face mask for personal use at home only and if you do not have a sewing machine or supplies:

Upon completion of the John’s Hopkins compliant face masks, you can drop these off at the GNFA. Since the doors are locked, there will be a plastic drop box with a cover outside of the side doors labeled ‘GNFA Face Masks’. Package your homemade masks in a plastic bag and leave inside the drop box, and the Bhai Sahibs will bring them inside several times a day.

A sewadaar will pick up the masks and bring them to the hospital for distribution to the hospital and various local nursing homes.

If you have questions or concerns you can email management@gnfa.org

Thank you in advance for your sewa!
