Kausalya Pabla passed away suddenly yesterday, Thursday, September 27, 2012. She was a loving soul who has served the community for a long time in the Washington area.
She and her husband, Dr. Gursewa Singh Pabla, have supported many community initiatives including long time presence in the affairs of GNFA and giving financial donations to Guru Gobind Singh Foundation. They have been tremendously generous and have offered a helping hand to many newcomers in the area in the last three decades. She hosted many community events at her home to strengthen the growing community in the Washington area. They both have provided support for the issues of the Sikhs in America and in India.
She was a kind hearted, soft spoken and humble personality and did lot of sewa. She possessed a unique quality of making everyone smile with her demeanor and will show love even for a stranger in the Gurdwara. She will be missed by the community at large.
