This is to announce that as per the GNFA By-laws Article II (1), the regularly scheduled annual general body meeting will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 2 PM. The quorum sheet will be available for signing starting at 8:00 a.m. Please bring valid ID.
In keeping with GNFA By-laws Article II (4), the agenda for the meeting is as follows:

In keeping with GNFA By-laws Article II (3), GNFA, General elections will be held on Sunday, November 15, between 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Quorum is not required for elections. A valid ID is required.

Health Fair at Silver Spring Gurdwara draws over 500 from diverse communities across the DC Metropolitan area!
18 tents, 8 rooms, parking lot filled, 350 patients helped, 200 people got free lab tests sponsored by Quest Diagnostics, 185 people got free flu shots sponsored by Walgreens, 73 diabetic retinopathy screenings, 53 bone density scans.
On a pleasant and inspiring September afternoon the Sikh American community of Maryland, partnering with the American Diversity Group, hosted a successful Health Fair at the Guru Nanak Foundation of America (GNFA.)
On July 26th, GNFA Chairperson, Dr. Darshan Singh Saluja presented $2,000 Merit
Award to Jaskeerat Kaur, who will continue her education for Bachelor of Science
degree in the field of Public Health and Pre-med Studies at the University of
Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). UMBC is an American public research and
honors university, located in Baltimore County, Maryland. .
Our congratulations go to Jaskeerat Kaur who is the daughter of Tajinder Kaur and
Gurvinder Singh Ahluwalia.
The Dharmik Committee thanks the participants, parents, our bhai sahibs, teachers, and volunteers for a very successful sammelan on May 23 in which 39 youth jathas participated. The entire program has been archived and can be viewed at www.passionfortruthtv.com/
