With a heavy heart, we share the passing of Sardar Surinder Singh Choudhary, loving husband of Sardani Rajinder Kaur, Father of Gurinder Singh and Agam Singh and brother of Dr. Manjit Singh Choudhary.
 He  was a blessed Gursikh whose whole life was devoted to Naam Simran. He left the mortal world on Thursday, February 28th at 4:00 PM.  Please join us as we celebrate his beautiful life at the following events:

Health Enrollment assistance at GNFA, Nov 11, 11 am-2 pm

Open enrollment for 2019 health plans stared Nov 1st and will end Dec 15th, 2018.
A team of experts, certified on Maryland Health Connection will be at GNFA  on Sunday, Nov 11 from 11-2pm, to help sangat with consultation and health enrollment. You will be able to renew your health plans or enroll into a new one for 2019. If you are interested, please bring your photo ID, immigration info, social security number and income proof that day. But if you can’t make it that day, please feel free to contact Manpreet Singh, Ph: 240-383-0020 for for any health enrollment questions.

Healthy Mind Initiative

Officers from United States Public Health service came to GNFA on Sunday, September 30th to give a presentation on increasing awareness of mental health issues in children. CAPT Renmeet Grewal, CDR Simleen Kaur and LCDR Aman Sarai shared mental health and suicide risk statistics with Khalsa school parents and educated them about the early warning signs associated with mental health problems. They went on to enlighten the audience on how to seek support and help for their children. Everyone was very engaged in the interactive session, asking questions and adding to this important discussion. They will be sharing the slides of their presentation which will be shared with the sangat shortly.
