Officers from United States Public Health service came to GNFA on Sunday, September 30th to give a presentation on increasing awareness of mental health issues in children. CAPT Renmeet Grewal, CDR Simleen Kaur and LCDR Aman Sarai shared mental health and suicide risk statistics with Khalsa school parents and educated them about the early warning signs associated with mental health problems. They went on to enlighten the audience on how to seek support and help for their children. Everyone was very engaged in the interactive session, asking questions and adding to this important discussion. They will be sharing the slides of their presentation which will be shared with the sangat shortly.
